‘The help given to me by CCRS and the Ronnie Melville fund enabled me to continue shooting through university, both locally with small bore and with the RAFTRC on the odd weekend I could make it to Bisley. I even managed to participate in the Imperial, instead of just marking targets! I will always be grateful for the aid I received – without which I would not have been able to shoot. Bisley and Target Rifle Shooting has allowed me to meet some fantastic people among which I can still call my closest friends. Thank you.’

100% of your donation will be used to support cadets in financial need, to assist with the purchase of essential shooting equipment and participation in major UK and International competitions.
Donation of an item of shooting equipment will support cadets in major competitions or those who have aged out of cadets and are keen to continue shooting. Please use our contact page if you have any items you would like to donate to CCRS.
The Simon Fraser Memorial Fund was set up to commemorate Major Simon Fraser MBE, General Secretary of CCRS from 1993 to 2016. The purpose of the fund is to support young firers in any of our international teams who may be in financial need.
In 1995 Sir Ronald Henry Melville KCB, President CCRS 1989-2000, most generously made a donation to CCRS that established “The Equipment Fund”, which after his death, with his family’s approval, was renamed “The Ronnie Melville Equipment Fund” in his memory. The Fund provides items of shooting equipment, except rifles, which CCRS then issues on long loan to cadets to enable them to continue shooting during the transition from the Cadet Movement to that of an adult shooter.
Friends of CCRS include individuals and organisations who contribute to our charitable aims. Apart from the satisfaction of contributing to the future of young people and shooting, we offer a range of benefits, including use of Derby Lodge and the opportunity to link your company or organisation through our website.
