President and Vice Presidents

CCRS is extremely fortunate to be able to call upon the wise counsel and influence of a President and a number of Vice Presidents. These non-executives willingly give of their advice and time and the charity greatly appreciates all that they contribute.

 

President

Board of Trustees

The Board is responsible for ensuring the charity’s affairs are managed effectively and efficiently and in accordance with Charity Commission guidelines. The Board meets regularly and currently comprises:

Committees

Advisory Committee

The role of the Advisory Committee is to advise and make representations to the charity trustees; and to provide representation of, and exchange of information with, organisations with which the charity may have dealings. The Committee meets once per year

Schools/CCF Committee

Oversees the organisation and implementation of the annual 4 day schools/CCF meeting.

International Committee.

Oversees the organisation and implementation of the 3 international teams and the hosting of the 2 visiting teams.

Inter-services’ Matches Committee

Oversees the organisation and implementation of all community cadets’ (SCC, ACF and RAFAC) competitions; the major 2 of these are the annual 3 day Inter-services’ Cadet Rifle Meeting and the annual 3 day General Purpose Rifle Meeting

Clay Committee

Oversees the organisation and implementation of the annual cadet clay competition

Secretariat

The permanent secretariat is based at Derby Lodge at Bisley and is responsible to the Board for the management of the charity’s shooting and non-shooting affairs including all administrative and financial matters. The secretariat comprises: General Secretary, Shooting Manager, Competitions Officer, and Administrative Officer.
