Farewell

It is with sadness that CCRS passes on the news of the death of Maj (Retd) George Garman passed away suddenly on 12 April 2025.  George had a great passion for clay target shooting and was heavily involved with promoting clay target shooting within the Cadets and the Regular and Reserve Army. He created & ran both the National CFAV & Cadet Clay Target Shoots for many years. Over the years, hundreds of personnel, both young & old, have benefitted from his guidance & passion for the sport. In more recent years, even when mobility became an issue, George would use a buggy so he could continue to provide support & guidance to new & experienced shooters alike.
