CCRS Postal Competitions Update

2021-22 Commonwealth Postal Matches

CCRS are delighted to announce the launch of the 2021 – 2022 Commonwealth Postal Matches including a new match:

• Commonwealth Match H (The President’s Cup) – DCCT

This competition allows cadets to take advantage of DCCT infrastructure UK-wide and supports Cadet L98A2 shooting in a simulated environment.

Entry forms for the Commonwealth Matches can now be found here. All units that entered the 2020/21 postal competitions will be contacted regarding their entries being carried forward to 2021/22.

We have developed a new, all-encompassing ‘CCRS Postal Matches Handbook’ as an aide memoire for all Shooting Officers and anyone associated with Cadet shooting. A digital version of this can be found here and hard copies will be available on request.

For 2021, we will also be launching a Clay Postal Competition on 4 May through to 30 September. This will be open to Cadets and CFAVs and replaces the annual Cadet Clay and CFAV Clay Shooting Competitions this year, both of which have had to be cancelled due to Covid restrictions.

We hope that the launch of these competitions, represents an enhancement to the Cadet Experience, particularly during these challenging times.
